Why does Action on Poverty accept cryptocurrency?
Crypto Philanthropy is a new and thrilling fundraising avenue for organisations like Action on Poverty. With more than 300 million crypto users worldwide and the value of many cryptocurrencies rising, the crypto community is in a position to make a wide-reaching impact through philanthropy. We are excited about what the future holds in the crypto and blockchain space, and believe that we’re just scratching the surface of its fundraising potential.
You can claim a tax deduction for gifts or donations to organisations that have a status as a deductible gift recipient (DGR)
